Description

In a place where I fell in love every day. Where the sun made me realize the strength of my body. A place where there is a balance between life and death.
I got used to the movement of life, where there is no rest that is not necessary. Some of the beings that inhabited this pond became accustomed to my presence and I to theirs. Which allowed me to reach the point of deep meditation, where I could feel the love for life.

Life for life.

Here I shared words of love with friends who came to visit me because they knew that on this small dock I would be sitting meditating on the unions of our existence.
I who cannot be routine, how quickly I get tired of knowing my calendar. I decided to immerse in these restless waters a painting that was a representation of what was going on in my individual space, my studio. I wanted to put this painting in the place where my thoughts arose, in the place that made me feel the most free, the most beautiful. I chose to turn it into a ritual of gratitude. Every day I came to see the evidence of movement. What new beings inhabited my painting?

Do they know of my existence?

Can they feel the love I have for them and for the place they inhabit?
After approximately 10 days of being submerged in the pond, during hot and rainy days I decided to extract this painting to live with it in the context almost exclusively of the human race.
It now remains as a record of the climate and biodiversity of that pond in Omi, New York in the year of 2018.
